We've added a whole new batch of unique Emoji to Boundless! These represent Creatures :wildstock:, Tools :hammer:, Resources :roughsapphire: or Crops :wheatgrain: from within the Boundless universe. Throughout the game, players will once again be greeted by special lighting conditions at night, horrifying weather effects, and spooky soundscape to really put you in the Halloween spirit!
The Zombie :1f9df: and Skeleton :1f480: body paints were designed by some extremely creative community members, and we can’t wait to see them in the game!Įlsewhere, there are 6 new Halloween brews, allowing underwater breathing, huge atmospheric protection, and even the ability to change the weather :1f326: when consumed! We’ve also got some new wearables in the exchange.
These include the all new hanging Bat :1f987: and the bubbling Cauldron, alongside returning favourites from previous years. These are then used to craft Spooky Seeds, which make special props. :1f578: :1f577: :1f578:įor a limited time only, Citizens are again on the hunt for Spooky Orbs around the Boundless Universe. It’s that wonderful time of year again, when the nights are getting darker, and things are getting a little bit spookier. Poorly behaved Citizens may end up with Coal.
The rewards for this event include Red Candy Canes, as well as Food, Brews and Gifts. There will also be no Defeat Penalty on these events, with Players instead building up ‘embarrassment’ from being hit, before heading to the sanctum having lost their ‘Meteorite Life’. Time to fight snow with snow! Gather enough Ice from the impact zone to Handcraft a Bag of Snowballs, and give the icy critters everything you've got! These will do direct damage to one target, and are only effective against Snow Spitters. Rather than a regular strike, a meteorologically-unlikely but festively pleasing giant Snowball will crash to the surface of the World bringing with it a whole host of special Snow Spitters, which will launch their chilly projectiles at Citizens, and are impervious to regular Weapons. With the Oortmas Oorty, Candy Totem crop, and all new content, there’s a whole lot to see and do at Oortmas, so get out there and spread some festive cheer!įor the duration of the winter event, special Snowball Fight Meteorite events will occur on Starter Worlds. These will be accompanied by all our previous Oortmas offerings for the length of the event. Of course, we’ve got a whole host of new goodies coming to the Exchange for a limited time only, with the Snowglobe and Guiding Star Wearables, joined by the new Snowflakes Body Paint.
Red Candy Canes are gained through special Snowball Meteorite events, and are used to craft yet more seasonal decorations to deck the halls of your Beacons! This year, we’ve introduced two Oortmas table centrepieces - a Roast Spitter for you meat-eaters, and an Earthyam platter for the vegetarians amongst us. These will drop Green Candy Canes, used to craft some festive decorative props. Running from the 17th-31st December, wintry snow will be seen throughout the Known Worlds, and many Creatures will be seen sporting little Oortmas Hats. It’s beginning to look a lot like Oortmas! To celebrate the holidays, Boundless is getting festive for two weeks.
